Enjoy traditional Japanese cooking with the Ginpo Kikka Donabe (No. 6), a beautifully handcrafted earthenware casserole pot with a vibrant lapis blue lid. Part of the renowned Ginpo Chrysanthemum (Kikka) series, this next-generation donabe combines modern design with nearly 90 years of Japanese pottery expertise from Mie Prefecture.

This compact donabe is ideal for single servings or small households. Measuring 7.3" diameter (18.5 cm) and holding just the right capacity for 1 cup of rice (approx. 1 serving), it allows you to enjoy perfectly cooked donabe rice in just 30 minutes. Simply add water, cook until steam appears, and turn off the heat—no guesswork required.

Crafted with an odor- and stain-resistant glaze, the pot requires no pre-seasoning and ensures easy cleaning. With excellent heat retention and resistance to sudden temperature changes, it’s also perfect for soups, stews, and casseroles.

The stunning Lucis lapis blue glaze has a sense of depth and transparency, resembling the beauty of a deep sea. Its elegant finish makes it suitable for serving directly at the table, blending seamlessly into both traditional and modern kitchens.
